| dc.description.abstract | In this article, we argue that the media has a pedagogical role in the apparatus of sexuality, taken from Foucault. To do so, we start from the concept of a apparatus to show how dierent media productions act, contributing to the maintenance of cisheteronormativity and gender binary as a social standard, from childhood to adulthood, not only prohibiting and hiding, but also producing representations of what is desirable from a normative point of view. | |

| local.description.resumo | Neste artigo, defendemos que a mídia tem um papel pedagógico no dispositivo da sexualidade, tomado a partir de Foucault. Para tanto, partimos do conceito de dispositivo para evidenciar a forma como produções midiáticas diversas atuam contribuindo para a manutenção da cisheteronormatividade e da binariedade de gênero enquanto padrão social, da infância à idade adulta, não apenas proibindo e escondendo, mas também produzindo representações do que é desejável do ponto de vista normativo. | |
