Extensão Universitária na EAD: além das fronteiras físicas da universidade

Abstract

This report aims to reflect the university extension in Distance Education considering the development of extension actions of the Distance Education Support Centerof the Federal University of Minas Gerais. The work presented here reports the experience in the coordination of courses, programs, projects and academic extension events. This process presupposes disseminating the knowledge produced within the university and, at the same time, creating conditions that allow absorbing the culture of the external community. Thus, it is concluded that the extension should be part of the daily distance courses taught by the university, and as well as the research, should be inserted in the same horizon they are offered in the classroom courses.
