O exercício cartográfico na pesquisa-ensino: representações de estudantes sobre o espaço vivido no bairro Icaivera, na escola e na educação física

Resumo
A escola, como parte desse território povoado pelos estudantes, pelos professores e por toda a comunidade escolar, convive com diferentes perspectivas, geradas a partir das experiências usufruídas no período regular das aulas ou fora dele. No contexto das aulas de Educação Física, os espaços ocupados na escola correspondem tanto às obrigações quanto ao desejo de um tempo para livre fruição de práticas esportivas, jogos, brincadeiras e da relação entre os sujeitos ali implicados.Diante destas diferentes expectativas, o presente estudo buscou refletir sobre a articulação entre a Educação Física e as experiências dos adolescentes no tempo livre, compondo a teia de representações entre os sujeitos, o espaço e as aulas, dentro do espaço escolar. Foi realizada uma pesquisa-ensino, junto aos estudantes do oitavo ano do ensino Fundamental na Escola Municipal Maria Elena da Cunha Braz, situada no bairro Icaivera, em Betim/MG. Durante os encontros, ao investigar o cotidiano desses adolescentes dentro e fora da escola foi possível mapear o território constituído a partir dos usos e representações associadas às obrigações e ao tempo livre dos estudantes. A cartografia foi empregada como recurso metodológico, que correspondeu tanto à representação geográfica do território do Icaivera, quanto à utilização de diferentes técnicas no mapeamento das representações dos estudantes associadas ao tempo livre neste território. Os mapas, fotografias, desenhos e textos produzidos, somados aos relatos do caderno de campo, foram analisados a partir dos eixos tempo livre, Educação Física e espaços escolares, em articulação com elementos conceituais do referencial teórico que auxiliaram na reflexão sobre a relação entre a juventude e o ambiente, na formação da sua identidade; sobre o tempo livre, como “espaçotempo” vivido e desejado, no interior da escola ou fora dela e sobre o lugar das aulas de Educação Física. Ao longo da pesquisa-ensino, o produto educacional foi desenvolvido em duas fases: A primeira etapa correspondeu ao evento escolar intitulado Planejamento Participativo, onde as propostas formuladas pelos estudantes para usufruto do tempo livre na escola foram apresentadas, discutidas e votadas. A segunda etapa correspondeu ao registro do percurso de pesquisa e do Planejamento Participativo, por meio de uma edição especial do jornal escolar Estação Icaivera.
Abstract
The school, as par to this territory populated by students, teachers and the entire
school community, coexists with different perspectives, generated from the
experiences enjoyed during the regular classes or not. In the context of Physical
Education classes, the relationship between the subjects and the classroom spaces
includes school obligations and demands of time for free enjoyment of the
relationship with classmates, practice of sports and games. Faced with these
different expectations, the present study sought to reflect on the articulation between
Physical Education and the experiences of adolescents in their free time, composing
the web of representations between subjects, space and classes, with in the school
space. A teaching-research was carried out with students of the eighth year of
elementary school at the Municipal School Maria Elena da Cunha Braz, located in
the Icaivera neighborhood, in Betim/MG. During the meetings, when investigating the
dailylife of these adolescents inside and outside the school, it was possible to map
the territory constituted from the uses and representations associated with the
obligations and free time of the students. The cartography was used as a
methodological resource, corresponding both to the geographic perspective of
representing a territory through maps, drawing sand photographs, and to the
production of knowledge in the exercise of mapping representations about
recognized spaces for the enjoyment of free time. The cartographic was used as a
methodological resource that corresponded to the geographic representation of the
Icaivera territory and the use of different techniques in mapping the students'
representations associated with free time in this territory. The maps, photographs,
drawings and texts produced, added to the reports in the field notebook, were
analyzed from the axes of free time, Physical Education and school spaces. These
elements were articulated with concepts presented in the basic theory, helping to
reflect on the relationship between youth and the environment, in the formation of
their identity; about free time, as lived and desired “spacetime”, inside or outside the
school, as well as about the place of Physical Education classes. From the researchteaching, the educational product was created in two phases. The first corresponded
to the school event entitled Participatory Planning, in which proposals made by
students to enjoy their free time at school were presented, discussed and voted on.
The second referred to recording the research path and Participatory Planning,
through a special edition of the school newspaper Estação Icaivera.
