O mito da democracia racial na visão de professores da RME-BH

| dc.description.abstract | This article aims to reflect on the presence of the discourse of racial democracy in the speech of educators of the Municipal School Network of Belo Horizonte before the propositions of Law n° 10.639/2003 that establish the teaching/learning of Art, History and Afro-Brazilian and African Cultures in Basic Education in Brazil. For this, we take the reflections of GOMES: 2005, 2013; GUIMARÃES: 1999, 2002, 2005 and MUNANGA: 1999, to discuss the myth of Brazilian racial democracy and the critical reflections of the Discourse Analysis in VAN DIJK: 2003, ORLANDI: 2015, SILVA:2005, among others. The data presented here were collected in audio during the performance of a focus group with eight teachers from Municipal School Network of Belo Horizonte, under the theme "The reduction of the age of criminal in Brazil -PEC171/193". The arguments used by the teachers sometimes reproduce, sometimes questioning, the myth of Brazilian racial democracy, leaving their views on affirmative actions and on ethnic-racial relations in Brazil. | |

| local.description.resumo | Este artigo tem como objetivo refletir sobre a presença do discurso da democracia racial na fala de educadores da Rede Municipal de Ensino de Belo Horizonte diante das proposições da Lei n° 10.639/2003 que estabelecem o ensino/aprendizagem da Arte, da História e das Culturas afro-brasileiras e africanas no Ensino Básico no Brasil. Para isso, tomamos as reflexões de GOMES: 2005, 2013; GUIMARÃES: 1999, 2002, 2005 e MUNANGA: 1999, para discutirmos o mito da democracia racial brasileira e as reflexões críticas da Análise do Discurso em VAN DIJK: 2003, ORLANDI: 2015, SILVA:2005, dentre outros. Os dados aqui apresentados foram coletados em áudio durante realização de grupo focal com oito professores da RME-BH, sob o tema gerador “A redução da maioridade penal no Brasil - PEC171/193”. Os argumentos utilizados pelos docentes por vezes reproduzem, por vezes questionam o mito da democracia racial brasileira, deixando ver seus posicionamentos sobre ações afirmativas e sobre as relações étnico-raciais no Brasil. | |
