Resumo
Introdução: O desenvolvimento motor de crianças com paralisia cerebral depende do indivíduo, da tarefa e do meio. Pesquisas demonstram uma grande importância do ambiente familiar nas respostas neuropsicomotoras. Compreender as características do ambiente que regulam e afetam o desenvolvimento das tarefas de movimento é essencial para planejar uma intervenção efetiva. A fim de ser funcional o sistema nervoso central deve levar em consideração os atributos do ambiente quando planeja um movimento específico. Características do ambiente podem, algumas vezes, permitir ou apoiar, ou ao contrário, podem debilitar ou atrapalhar ou desempenho. Objetivo: O presente estudo pretende investigar a influência do ambiente no desenvolvimento motor de crianças com paralisia cerebral através de uma revisão narrativa da literatura. Metodologia: Revisão narrativa da literatura, a partir das seguintes bases de dados Pubmed e Scielo, em inglês ou português, dos últimos 20 anos, utilizando as palavras chaves paralisia cerebral, desenvolvimento motor, ambiente domiciliar. Resultado: Foram encontrados um total 3.917 artigos, sendo excluídos por não se adequar ao tema 3.903, porém sendo selecionados 14 para leitura na íntegra, com seleção de apenas 05 artigos, no qual descrevem uma melhora do desempenho motor de crianças com paralisia cerebral quando o foco de intervenção é o ambiente e a tarefa. Conclusão: Os resultados apontam que o desenvolvimento motor de crianças com paralisia cerebral sofre influência do ambiente, no qual, um domicílio rico em estímulos, torna-se fundamental para uma boa resposta neuropsicomotora, especialmente nos primeiros anos de vida.
Abstract
Introduction: Motor development of children with cerebral palsy depends on the individual, the task and the environment. Research demonstrates a great importance of the family environment in neuropsychomotor responses. Understanding the characteristics of the environment that regulate and affect the development of movement tasks is essential to plan an effective intervention. In order to be functional the central nervous system must take into account the attributes of the environment when planning a specific movement. Features of the environment can sometimes allow or support, or on the contrary, can weaken or disrupt or performance. Objective: The present study aims to investigate the influence of the environment on the motor development of children with cerebral palsy through a narrative review of the literature. Methodology: Narrative review of the literature, from the following databases Pubmed and Scielo, in English or Portuguese, from the last 20 years, using the Keywords cerebral palsy, motor development, home environment. Result: A total of 3.917 articles were found, 3.903 being excluded because they did not fit the theme, but 14 were selected for full reading, with a selection of only 05 articles which describe an improvement in motor performance of children with cerebral palsy when the
intervention focus is on the environment and the task. Conclusion: The results indicate that the motor development of children with cerebral palsy is influenced by the environment, in which, a home with many stimulus, becomes fundamental for a good neuropsychomotor response, especially in the first years of life.
