Resumo
O artigo tem como objetivo discutir o conceito de gênero, como vem sendo pensado pela filósofa Judith Butler, e suas potencialidades para analisar currículos culturais. Para isso,realiza uma discussão teórica, em que se articulam os estudos realizados por Butler aos pressupostos de Michel Foucault e de algumas teóricas feministas contemporâneas. Argumenta-se que os conceitos de norma, corpo e poder são fundamentais para a compressão do conceito de gênero na perspectiva desenvolvida pela filósofa e que essa articulação é potente para analisar currículos culturais.Para evidenciar como isso ocorre, analisam-se, também, alguns Contos de Fadas que constituem um currículo de Contos de Fadas analisado em uma dissertação de mestrado.Com base na perspectiva pós-crítica do campo curricular, particularmente nas contribuições dos estudos culturais, mostra-se como esses elementos funcionam para a análise desse currículo, evidenciando tanto a reiteração das normas de gênero, como as possibilidades de resistência a elas.
Abstract
The article aims to discuss the concept of gender, as it has been thought by the philosopher JudithButler, and its potential to analyze cultural curricula. For this, it carries out a theoretical discussion, in which the studies carried out by Butler are articulated to the assumptions of Michel Foucault and some contemporary feminist theorists. It is argued that the concepts of norm, body and power are fundamental for understanding the concept of gender in the perspective developed by the philosopher and that this articulation is powerful for analyzing cultural curricula. In order to show how this occurs,we also analyze some Fairy Tales that constitute a curriculum of Fairy Tales analyzed in a master's thesis. Based on the post-critical perspective of the curricular field, particularly in the contributions of cultural studies, it is shown how these elements work for the analysis of this curriculum, showing both the reiteration ofgender norms and the possibilities of resistance to them.
