Resumo
O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar uma análise sobre os dados de matrículas de estudantes do público-alvo da Educação Especial (PAEE), com ênfase no período da pandemia da Covid-19, eclodida, no Brasil, em março de 2020. De modo secundário, buscou-se relacionar esses dados com os contextos anteriores e atual, em relação ao processo de escolarização do PAEE na escola regular, em sala comum. Para isso, a fonte de dados foi a sinopse estatística da Educação Básica disponibilizada pelo Instituto Nacional de Estudos Pedagógicos Anísio Teixeira (INEP). Foram considerados os dados do período de seis anos (2016 a 2021). Os resultados apontam que houve aumento no total de matrículas desses estudantes na escola regular, conforme já era observado em anos anteriores. Entretanto, os dados evidenciam uma tendência decrescente desse aumento, mostrando que a inclusão escolar segue ameaçada no país.
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to present an analysis of the data related to the enrollment of the target students of Special Education, with emphasis on the period of the COVID-19 pandemic, broken out, in Brazil, in March 2020. Secondarily, it was sought to relate these data with the preceding and current contexts, in relation to the schooling process of the target students of Special Education at regular school, in the common classroom. To this end, the data source was the statistical synopsis of Basic Education provided by the National Institute for Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (INEP) and is characterized as being descriptive, qualitative in nature, and involving statistical analysis. Data from the six-year period (2016 to 2021). The results point out that there was an increase in the enrollment total of these students at regular school, as already observed in previous years. However, the data show a decreasing trend of this increase, showing that school inclusion follows being threatened in the country.
