| dc.description.abstract | This study aims giving a new regard to the composal of the brazilian society and historically identifying it’s possible reflexes, specifically the ones that have constructed their utopia and distopia. To acomplish that, the thoughts of Souza (2015; 2017), such as the thoughts of other authors as Fernandes (1975; 2006; 2008), Nabuco (2003), Holanda (1995) and others were used as reference to support the statement that the structure and formation of the brazilian society have both influenced the behavior of the social classes in their search for a better place, concearned in the period between the Colonization and the Old Repuplic. The brazilian historic facts shown by this study reveal the identity of a nation that transmit to the following generations a structured identity wich guide their aspirations through their search for achievements, hence for a better place wich is runned by the dominant forces maintaning their own interests. | |

| local.description.resumo | O presente estudo tem como objetivo refletir acerca da configuração da sociedade brasileira e identificar historicamente possíveis reflexos para a construção de suas utopias e distopias. Para isso foram utilizadas interlocuções do pensamento de Souza (2015; 2017) com os de outros autores como Fernandes (1975; 2006; 2008), Nabuco (2003), Holanda (1995) e demais pensadores sobre as transformações sociais, no pressuposto de que a estrutura de formação da sociedade brasileira influenciou o comportamento das suas classes na busca por um lugar melhor, ou de suas utopias, cujo recorte abrange da Colonização até a República Velha. Fatos da história brasileira apontados no estudo marcam a identidade de uma nação que reproduz em suas gerações a consciência de uma estrutura identitária norteadora das aspirações pela busca de realizações maculado pelas forças dominantes e manutenção dos seus próprios interesses. | |
