Resumo
Frente à dificuldade de aprender o inglês e ao desinteresse de alguns alunos durante as aulas, este artigo derivado de um Projeto de Ação teve como objetivo principal aplicar atividades diversificadas de dramatização e interpretação que favorecessem a criatividade dos alunos e propiciassem maior motivação e interesse nos educandos. A metodologia deste projeto se baseou na realização de múltiplas tarefas relacionadas à interpretação e dramatização, servindo-se do filme “Harry Potter e a Pedra Filosofal”. Durante a execução do projeto, os alunos relatam que se sentiram mais motivados durante as aulas e que, apesar de vários entraves, conseguiram, ao término da aplicação das atividades desenvolvidas, compreender melhor o estudo da língua inglesa, como também desmistificar a ideia de que não é possível aprender inglês dentro da escola pública regular.
Abstract
Faced with the difficulty of learning English and the lack of interest of some students during classes, this article derived from an Action Project had as main objective to apply diversified dramatization and interpretation activities that favored the students' creativity and provided greater motivation and interest in the students. The methodology of this project was based on the accomplishment of multiple tasks related to the interpretation and dramatization, using the film "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone". During the execution of the project, students report that they felt more motivated during the classes and that, despite several obstacles, they managed, at the end of the application of the activities developed, to better understand the study of the English language, as well as demystify the idea that it is not possible to learn English within the regular public school.
