Gestão da informação em perímetro de entorno de bens tombados

Abstract

Based on the assumption that public buildings override the architecture of their surroundings and confronting this hypothesis with the definitions of area perimeter used in public policies to protect cultural heritage, a literature review was done aiming to verify what has been written and researched about area perimeter. Once the research is over, one can notice that the term “area perimeter” in the sense it is intended to be used in this study can be found more recurrently in documents and in cultural heritage protection laws. This way, the document research methodology in the listed buildings dossier and in the cultural heritage protection laws has become the purpose of this research. The objectives of this study have a technological and an analytical character; the analytical character denotes the critical analysis of the area perimeter subject, whereas the technologic character is focused on the development of the terminological instrument and the outline of the prototype.
