Vico e o brilho reluzente do mundo histórico-civil

Abstract

The present work intends to present the general bases of the thought of Giambattista Vico, especially in relation to the foundations of the historical world and its influence in the constitution of objective measures of behavior. The Vico project precisely develops a way of thinking that represents the formation of objective and structural nexus independent of the cartesian pillars. Thus, one can visualize the planes of language, of the arts, of rhetoric and of religion with the genuinely human spaces, the true abode of man, which shelters and refuges him before the inhospitable universe of the natural world. Truth, therefore, in the Neapolitan thinker, is closely linked to the characteristics of the historical world, preparing the philosophical reflections of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, as noted in Dilthey, Heidegger, and Gadamer.
