Sem Lugar: a experiência de remoção de mulheres faveladas

Abstract

The following paper intends to present the multiple voicesof the women that live in the Aglomerado Santa Lúcia (Belo Horizonte, MG) and which are living the housing removal process due to the intervention of the Programa Vila Viva in villages and favelas. It seeks to reveal thisinvisible, excluded and subaltern experiences in the feminist theories and the relation of opposite between the formal city and the favela, and because of that those women are thealters.Will discuss through these voicesthe concept of appropriation and representation of space experienced by them in thefavelas, the gender relationships in the public space of the community throughout the debates about the intervention, moreover the violence that they suffer through this painful process. It also intends todiscuss the effects of the gender theories exclusion in the minds and in the urban planning, that are responsible to produce crossing powers, to create and increase the subaltern condition and to exclude the experiences of women from the favelas.
