Syphilis is an infection caused by Treponema pallidum, trans mitted mainly by sexual contact. The oral manifestation of this disease is common, especially in its primary and secondary stages. In this work, we report three cases of oral syphilis that were re ferred to a dental medicine service. All the patients reported unprotected sexual activity. The patients were white males, with their age ranging from 25 to 36 years. On clinical assessment, as ymptomatic oral lesions were observed. The lesions were multiple and variable, with mucosal plaques, ulcers, and red spots in the tongue, palate, and cheek mucosa. All diagnoses were confirmed with Venereal Disease Research Laboratory test (VDRL). The pa tients were referred for treatment and remain in follow-up. Increasing incidence of syphilis in recent years requires the attention of a dentist for the diagnosis.
