Inovação da informação e linguagem jurídicas e sua aplicação na representação da informação jurídica

Abstract

This study contextualizes the international movements Legal Design, Visual Law and Plain Language. Such movements promote information innovation and legal language with the aim of making them clear and understandable to all, regardless of social or instructional level. The study aims to conceptualize and relate these themes and their application in the area of Knowledge Organization and Representation. The study has a qualitative, exploratory and descriptive character, using bibliographic and documentary research methods to present the state of the art and the theoretical framework of the research. It concludes that there are converging points between the innovation of legal information and language and the Knowledge Organization and Representation, making it possible for Information professionals, using the theories and principles of the international movements Legal Design, Visual Law and Plain Language, to propose methods, centered on people, to organize, represent and retrieve legal information in a more understandable, simple, objective and clear way.
