Indígenas Akwẽ-Xerente: territorialidade, alteridade, temporalidade, sustentabilidade e lazer

Abstract

The indigenous territory and it’s temporality brings specifiticies that are build from experiences, existence, senses and meanings elaborated in dialy individual and collective life. Starting from this ideas, the aim of this research was to relate the cultural practices of the Akwẽ-Xerente citizenry and the study and leisure area. I investigated the cultural experiences that reveals it self as a life style and as a processo of constitutions from this people otherness. The emphasis on studies of leisure is explicit from the focus on the playfulness of the cultural experiences of the Akwẽ-Xerente people. The study was realized combining bibliographic researches and field research, with observation, interviews, and registers on field notebook.The ground on the anthropological debate guided the ethnographic practice through the "close and inward look". I analyzed the indigenous habitation, revealing how they live time and space in their village, your relation with the obligations, leisure and culture. Noticed a cultural complex of practices from the Akwẽ-Xerente citizenry, as the shower on the river, the realization of “ Dasipê” With emphasis on the logging race; The birthday party of the village, which has football as its centrality; from the identification of cultural involvement.Therefore, i understand this manifestations as cultural practices of leisure that reveals it self asa way of life and formation of the otherness and they are part of the dialy life becoming the generating force that defines the culture of this people.
