| dc.description.abstract | Este artigo discute uma abordagem de roadmapping (RMA) adotada em um programa de descoberta e desenvolvimento de medicamentos para doenças negligenciadas. Essa experiência levou a mudanças na RMA tradicional que revelaram potencial especial para ambientes intensivos em ciência: (i) conduzir o processo de roadmapping em paralelo para áreas alternativas de interesse; (ii) iniciar o processo de roadmapping com foco nos caminhos tecnológicos consolidados; (iii) construir roteiros para destacar os pontos fortes e fracos da organização; e (iv) considerar as contingências setoriais para aprimorar as abordagens gerenciais. Entre as implicações, alguns paradigmas da literatura são contrastados pela adaptação contingencial da RMA, alterando a dinâmica do workshop; e adotando uma abordagem de estratégia lenta de dentro para fora. | |

| local.description.resumo | This paper discusses a roadmapping approach (RMA) adopted on a program on drug discovery and development for neglected diseases. This experience led to changes in traditional RMA that revealed special potential for science-intensive environments: (i) conduct the roadmapping process in parallel for alternative areas of interest; (ii) start the roadmapping process by focusing on the consolidated technological paths; (iii) construct roadmaps to highlight organizational strengths and weaknesses; and (iv) consider the sectoral contingencies to enhance the managerial approaches. Among the implications, some literature paradigms are contrasted by contingency adapting RMA, changing workshop dynamics; and adopting a slow inside-out strategizing approach. | |
