Abstract

The following text aims to question the idea of the episteme as the production of intellectual knowledge, generally understood as rational in the Cartesian sense. In contrast, we believe it is important to consider the idea and practice of other ways of thinking and creating knowledge, or be it what may be referred to as dissident epistemologies, which are created through the body in connection with other elements/bodies of nature. Thus, a critical analysis of Cartesianism and colonialism is conducted, drawing on various concepts of the philosophies of difference, ecofeminist philosophies and other philosophies and arts concepts of transfeminism and interspeciesism. This beheading and the adoption of antispeciesism as a way of being may lead to other experimentations of what it is to be human - it is only a matter of starting.
