Entre a roda e o palco: reflexões sobre a experiência de um Grupo de cultura popular na imersão do espetáculo

Abstract

This text results from an experience of research to discuss the processes of insertion of cultural groups into the logic of spectacle. From a psychosociologal viewpoint, we discuss the changes that emerge through the visibility process reached by the group Meninas de Sinhá, of Alto Vera Cruz, in Belo Horizonte. We try to take into consideration the challenge of qualitative research, which assumes the establishment of a bond between the researcher and the ones who participate in the study. The methodological resource used for this research, from which this reflection is extracted, was the one of History of life, but we focused here the global experience, the changes in the form of presentation (from the circle to the stage) and in the form of production for the scenery of a professional cultural production - issues that have been dealt with by the leader and founder of the group, at the time of the interviews. Finally, a reading on the process of the group bond and its permanence is proposed, without, however, disregard for the contradictions that lead there.
