Resumo
Entende-se como absenteísmo o hábito de não comparecer, de estar ausente, designando falta do indivíduo ao trabalho por motivos alheios à previsão da chefia do serviço. Estas ausências ocorrem por diversos motivos e possuem explicações históricas. Neste estudo especifica-se a história da enfermagem, as condições de trabalho destes profissionais e o tema absenteísmo bem como suas razões. O objetivo foi investigar e entender os reais motivos que geram o absenteísmo na equipe de enfermagem. Tratou-se de um estudo retrospectivo realizado através de levantamentos bibliográficos sobre o absenteísmo da equipe de enfermagem dentro de instituições hospitalares. Conclui-se que o tema abrange vários fatores e que muito se precisa fazer para mudarmos esta situação que vivenciamos hoje. A história da enfermagem reflete as condições de trabalho que a profissão enfrenta e suas limitações. As instituições precisam rever conceitos básicos sobre a posição enfermagem e os profissionais de enfermagem devem continuar em busca de melhores condições de trabalho.
Abstract
It feels like the habit of absenteeism not appear, to be absent, lack designating the individual to work through no fault of the head of the forecasting service. These absences occur for various reasons and have historical explanations. In this study specifies the history of nursing, the working conditions of these professionals and the theme absenteeism and the reasons. The objective was to investigate and understand the real reasons that generate absenteeism in the nursing team. This was a retrospective study based on literature surveys on the absenteeism of nursing staff within hospitals. We conclude that the subject covers several factors and that much has to do to make us change this situation we observe today. The history of nursing reflects the working conditions facing the profession and its limitations. Institutions need to review basic concepts about the nursing position and nursing professionals must continue to seek better working conditions.
