Família e escola: o contraponto em Helena Antipoff através da correspondência com o filho Daniel (1929-1938)

Resumo
Esta tese tem como objetivo apresentar a história da separação que a psicóloga e educadora Helena
Antipoff entreteve com seu filho único, Daniel, educando-o por meio de cartas semanais entre ela e
ele, durante 9 anos, de1929 a 1938. O referencial teórico utilizado para trabalhar essa extensa
correspondência executa uma espécie de fenomenologia sugerida por Husserl, acrescida dos
cuidados que as críticas de Kant e de Marx postulam para a atividade teórica, levando também em
consideração a literatura epistolar dos últimos séculos, como as recentes publicações das cartas
entre Claparède e Antipoff e das de Freud a seus filhos. Quanto ao método, depois de uma leitura
longitudinal das cerca de 700 cartas, ordenadas cronologicamente, selecionamos 58 de Helena
Antipoff, distribuídas em três quadros (da infância, da adolescência e da juventude de Daniel),
esquadrinhadas pelos temas tratados para, em seguida, apresentarmos algumas delas. Consideramos
que os resultados obtidos oferecem aos estudiosos uma visão geral do conteúdo e da relevância
desse acervo para o tratamento das relações de contraponto - a partir da escola - às limitações da
família, porque nos remetem ao que de melhor oferecem a filosofia, a psicologia e a pedagogia de
todos os tempos para conclusão da tarefa educativa. Sobre esse patamar, ergueu-se um tripé: a
criação de uma escola nova, em Beauvallon, França, as cartas semanais e o escotismo, com o verniz
da musicalidade. Os golpes de estado no Brasil(1930 e 1937) e a ascensão do nazismo na Europa,
envolvem o conteúdo lírico e filosófico das cartas, tornadas testemunho vivo daqueles momentos
históricos. Por sua vez, a então recente ação educativa de Antipoff, na Rússia dos primeiros anos da
revolução de 1917, revela-se por escrito numa tradução informal de suas dúvidas e convicções. Os
insistentes convites ao filho para se juntar a ela no atendimento à juventude encarcerada pelo
sistema prisional mineiro sinalizam, naqueles anos de separação, sua inclinação pelos caminhos
inclusivos da educação, a tônica de sua obra magistral. À guisa de conclusão, consideramos que
nosso esforço trouxe à luz - como um convite - uma opção apaixonada pela arte de viver e pela arte
de educar, sugerida naquela separação voluntária entre mãe e filho por quase meio milhar de
semanas, unidos pelo laço delicado e íntimo de uma mesma quantidade de cartas mar a mar.
Abstract
This dissertation aims to present the history of the separation that the psychologist and educator
Helena Antipoff entertained with her only child, Daniel, by educating him through weekly letters
between her and him for nine years, from 1929 to 1938. The theoretical framework used to work
on this extensive correspondence performs a kind of phenomenology suggested by Husserl, added
to the care that the critiques of Kant and Marx postulate for theoretical activity, also taking into
account consideration of the epistolary literature of the last centuries, such as the recent publications
of letters between Claparède and Antipoff and those of Freud to his childrens. As for the method,
after a longitudinal reading of the approximately 700 letters, ordered chronologically, we selected
59 from Helena Antipoff, distributed in three frames (of Daniel's childhood, adolescence and
youth), scrutinized by the themes dealt with, and then we present some of them. We consider that
the results obtained offer scholars an overview of the content and relevance of this collection for the
treatment of counterpoint relations - from the school - to the limitations of the family, because they
refer us to the best of philosophy, psychology and pedagogy of all times for completing the
educational task. On this landing, a tripod was erected: the creation of a new school, in Beauvallon,
France, weekly letters and scouting, with the varnish of musicality. The coups d'état in Brazil (1930
and 1937) and the rise of Nazism in Europe, involve the lyrical and philosophical content of the
letters, which became living testimony of those historical moments. In turn, the then recent
educational action of Antipoff, in Russia in the early years of revolution of 1917, is revealed in
writing in an informal translation of her doubts and convictions. The insistent invitations to the son
to join her in caring for the youth imprisoned by the prison system in Minas Gerais indicate, in
those years of separation, his inclination towards the paths of inclusive education, the keynote of
her masterful work. As a conclusion, we consider that our effort brought to light - as an invitation -
a passionate option for the art of living and the art to educate, suggested in that voluntary separation
between mother and child for almost half a thousand weeks, united by the delicate and intimate
bond of the same number of letters from sea to sea.
