Resumo
Esta dissertação é uma descrição etnográfica dos interativos encontros do grupo Flor de Mangueira. Um grupo composto por mulheres velhas em busca de uma momentânea fuga dos papéis convencionais impostos pelos seus familiares. Nos momentos em grupo, elas sentem-se distintas e mais valorizadas do que são em casa - e totalmente livres para se comportar de modos diferentes. Em grupo, podem interpretar outros papéis sociais. O trabalho também pode ser visto como uma invenção etnográfica. Com razoável liberdade, foram realizados vários experimentos de investigação do fenômeno social. O antropólogo, nesse caso, assumiu o papel de inventor de uma realidade para alcançar o entendimento de uma experiência essencialmente real e preponderante para as mulheres do grupo.
Abstract
This dissertation is an ethnographic description of the interactive meetings with a group called "Flor de Mangueira", composed of old women looking for a brief escape from the conventional roles imposed by family. The group moments they fell better and with more value than they are in the homes - and totally free to behavior in other different way. In group, they can play other social roles. The work can also be seen as an ethnographic invention. With reasonable freedom, several experiments were performed to analyze the social phenomena. In this case, the anthropologist assumed the role of the inventor of a reality to achieve the understanding of an experience essentially "real" and prevailing for the women in that group.
