Psicólogas, cientistas e feministas: a produção de si e de uma ciência psicológica posicionada

Abstract

Feminist Theory is one of many forces involved in questioning the universal and singular claim of modern science. This feminist thought seeks to contribute to a reinterpretation of the history of society from the social place of women. The present article sought to know the experience of women feminist psychologist scientists and to understand how they have integrated the scientific field, with attention to how and why they have produced psychological science. In search of treading paths for answers, the interlocutors of this research were the teachers: Sandra Maria da Mata Azêredo (UFMG) and Jaileila de Araújo Menezes (UFPE). The weaving of stories, told and written, forms webs of meaning, and can be understood and interpreted from a feminist perspective. The conclusions point out that the investigated scientists have the desire to construct other modes of science in a movement of invention of themselves to intellectuals, constitute an open web of meanings for the comprehension of the subjects' social relations and subjectivation processes in their research.
