Resumo
O objetivo deste estudo é averiguar a produção científica sobre as relações entre o uso de agrotóxicos e o adoecimento no trabalho rural. É um estudo de base quantitativa, que avalia a dispersão do conhecimento sobre o assunto nos seguintes meios de divulgação científica no Brasil: Scielo.org, portal regional da Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS) e PubMed; a partir da análise bibliométrica dos artigos disponíveis nesses repositórios, buscou-se resgatar a relação entre o uso de defensivos agrícolas e o adoecimento de trabalhadores rurais. Nota-se que a produção acadêmica sobre o tema vem crescendo ao longo da última década e que mesmo assim ainda há a carência de estudos na área. Há a preponderância de estudos que evidenciam a afetação da saúde biopsicológica de trabalhadores rurais em relação ao uso de agrotóxicos.
Abstract
This study analyzed the scientific research about the relationships between the use of pesticides and diseases in the rural work. It is a quantitative base study that evaluates the dispersion of knowledge and the subject in the following means of scientific dis semination in Brazil: Scielo.org, Regional Portal of the Virtual Health Library (BVS, in portuguese) and PubMed using the bibliometric analysis of the available articles in these repositories, rescuing the relationship between the use of pesticides and the diseases of rural workers. It was noted that the academic production on the theme has been growing over the last decade and that even then there is still a lack of studies in the area. There is a preponderance of studies that show the affectation of the biopsychological health of rural workers in relation to the use of pesticides.
