Resumo
O conceito-chave da teoria de Alain Badiou é o de “procedimento genérico”, que ele identifica como sendo a forma com a qual uma verdade de um dado mundo se faz apresentar-se neste. Ele aproxima o conceito de verdade aos termos genérico e indiscernível, e escolhe como símbolo para o termo genérico a marca do feminino (♀). Este artigo pretende desdobrar esse conceito, tendo como objetivo principal explorar essa identificação proposta por Badiou entre a mulher e a verdade de um mundo. Se, para Badiou, a verdade e o vazio têm em comum a subtração ao saber, nem por isso se identificam. Essa distinção entre verdade e vazio pode nos auxiliar a um melhor discernimento entre histeria e feminilidade, ao privilegiar, na mulher, não seu eventual caráter de negatividade, mas o que nela se apresenta como subversivo, por veicular uma afirmação que escapa às armadilhas predicativas de não importa qual sociedade.
Abstract
The key concept of the whole theory of Alain Badiou is that of the “generic procedure”, which he identifies as the way in which a truth of a certain world presents itself on it. He approaches the concept of truth to the terms of generic and indiscernible besides choosing as symbol for the generic term the female symbol (♀). This article intends to unfold such concept, primarily aiming to explore this identification proposed by Badiou between the woman and the truth of a world. If, for Badiou, trueness and emptiness have in common the subtraction to knowledge, it does not mean that they identify with one another. Such distinction between trueness and emptiness can help us better discern between hysteria and feminineness by focusing not on the women’s eventual negativity character, but what is presented as subversive in her, by demonstrating an assertion besides the predicative snares of any society.
