Resumo
O presente trabalho tem como objetivo, por meio da pesquisa bibliográfica e literária e da análise de filmes pré-selecionados, identificar as possibilidades existenciais que se apresentam para as mulheres que vivem em contextos/culturas conservadoras, machistas e violentas. Para tanto, foi realizado um mapeamento do que se conceitua Oriente Médio, sua história e delimitações geopolíticas. Em seguida, a visita a textos sagrados e seculares que apresentam uma visão antropológica mais clara das condições das mulheres naquele contexto. Por fim, a análise de algumas produções cinematográficas, que pudessem ilustrar o tema. Os resultados apontam para uma realidade difícil, violenta, de submissão, mas também de muita luta pela conquista de direitos de liberdade, de autonomia e autenticidade. Batalha que não se limita àquele espaço, mas que urge também no ocidente.
Abstract
The present paper aims to identify, through bibliographical research the existential possibilities that are showed to women who live in conservative, sexist and violent background/culture. Therefore, a mapping from how Middle East can be conceptualized, its history and geopolitical limitations was made. Then, the read of both secular and sacred texts which show a clearer anthropological approach of women in those backgrounds. Finally, the analyze of a few cinematographic production that can be theme illustrator. Results indicate a though, violent and submissive reality, but also a picture in which there is a lot of struggle in order to acquire freedom, independence and authenticity rights. An engagement which is not only restricted to that space, but also urges in the West.
