Possibilidades educativas no museu de artes e ofícios

Abstract

This paper presents data from a research about the pedagogical use of the Artes e Ofícios Museum of Belo Horizonte. We focused the analysis in the relationship between educative sector of the museum and the teachers who frequently use the exhibitions for teaching history. It also analyses the pedagogical materials and activities provided by the educative sector for teachers and study the educative potentiality of the museum’s exhibitions for teaching history. Finally, it supports the importance of the museums for the formation of teachers, students and museum educators.
