Resumo
Esta pesquisa busca investigar a trajetória político-pedagógica de uma geógrafa atuante na
Educação Básica e no Ensino Superior e, para isso, faço uso metodológico da construção
narrativa, bem como de sua análise, considerando a minha corporeidade de mulher negra e
pesquisadora. Esta se ancora na relevância da autobiografia de mulheres negras – incluindo
suas subjetividades, em cenários ainda de exploração de sua self como objeto de pesquisa –
portanto, esta é uma investigação que se deseja não hegemônica e do entendimento das
“escritas científicas geográficas enegrecidas”, como um método imbricado nas dimensões
macro e individuais; são grafias baseadas em escrita, linguagem, expressões e marcas
simbólicas que expressam produções espaciais de grupos socioculturais negros, conforme
investimento teórico-metodológico da pesquisadora Geny F. Ferreira Guimarães. O início
dessa narrativa tem como foco as práticas pedagógicas e as experiências de diálogos no
campo das relações étnico-raciais, as quais suspeito ser um modo de saber-fazer antirracista
tanto na escola quanto no ensino superior. Ademais, por se tratarem de conhecimentos
sistematizados e socializados pelo Movimento Negro Brasileiro, que vem sendo discutido há
pelo menos uma década pela pesquisadora Nilma Lino Gomes, busco identificar tais
aprendizagens desenvolvidas coletivamente durante este doutoramento, a partir da criação do
Grupo de Trabalho Geografias em Perspectivas Negras (GT GEPENE), situado na seção
Local Belo Horizonte da Associação de Geógrafos Brasileiros (AGB). Apesar de mudanças
no escopo da pesquisa, mantenho a vinculação aos estudos iniciados com a Decolonialidade.
Além disso, apresento resultados derivados das estratégias de anúncio e de denúncia ao
racismo acadêmico a partir dos saberes político-corporais, saberes das disputas
negro-epistêmicas, saberes interseccionais de articulação, saberes da indignação em
movimento, saberes individuais e coletivos de espacialização, saberes ancestrais de
reconhecimento mútuo, para então compreender o que vem a ser as Geografias em
Perspectivas Negras, considerando sua filiação à Rede de Geógrafos/as Negros/as no Brasil.
Abstract
This research seeks to investigate the political-pedagogical trajectory of a female geographer
working in Basic Education and Higher Education and, for this, I make methodological use of
narrative construction, as well as its analysis, considering my corporeality as a Black woman
and researcher. This is anchored in the pertinence of autobiography of Black women -
including their subjectivities - in scenarios in which still exploring their self as an object of
research. Therefore, this is an investigation that is not hegemonic, and it involves the
understanding of the “blackened geographical scientific writings” as a method interconnected
in the macro and individual dimensions; they are writings based on document, language,
expressions and symbolic marks that express spatial productions of Black sociocultural
groups, according to the theoretical-methodological investment of the researcher Geny F.
Ferreira Guimarães. The beginning of this narrative focuses on pedagogical practices and
experiences of dialogues in the field of ethnic-racial relations, which I suspect is a form of
antiracist know-how both in school and in higher education. Moreover, because these are
forms of knowledge systematized and socialized by the Black Brazilian Movement - which
has been discussed for at least a decade by the researcher Nilma Lino Gomes - I seek to
identify those learnings developed collectively during this PhD, from the creation of the
Working Group Geography In Black Perspectives (GT GEPENE), located in the Belo
Horizonte Local Section of the Association of Brazilian Geographers (AGB). Despite changes
in the scope of the research, I maintain the link to the studies initiated with decoloniality. In
addition, I present results derived from the strategies of claiming and complaining of
academic racism from political-corporal knowledge, forms of knowledge from
Black-epistemic disputes, intersectional knowledge of articulation, knowledge of anger in
movement, individual and collective knowledge of spatialization, and ancestral forms of
knowledge of mutual recognition, to then understand what geographies are from-within Black
perspectives, considering their affiliation to the Rede de Geógrafos/as Negros/as [Network of
Black Geographers] in Brazil.
