| dc.description.abstract | This article evaluates the effects of reactionary discourse and offensive against gender debates on basic education, especially on school curricula. We analyzed the material published on the website of the organization Escola sem Partido (No-party school). We argue that there is a dispute over basic education curricula being played against the background of ascending reactionary agenda. Content related to women’s history and gender is under threat of being eliminated. The result is a witch hunt, where the contemporary witches ate the teachers. | |

| local.description.resumo | O presente artigo avalia os efeitos do discurso reacionário e da ofensiva antigênero na educação básica, em especial nos currículos escolares. Para tanto, analisamos o material divulgado no site da organização Escola sem Partido. Argumentamos que os currículos da Educação Básica estão sob disputa em um contexto de ascensão de propostas reacionárias. Tenta-se eliminar dos currículos os conteúdos relativos à história das mulheres, bem como a discussão sobre as questões de gênero. Configura-se, assim, um processo de caça às bruxas contemporâneas: as professoras. | |
