A importância de um olhar interseccional nas pesquisas em plataformas digitais: análises sobre lesbianidades

Abstract

In this article we seek to highlight the importance of an intersectional view in analysis that focus attention on the experiences of lesbians. Understanding that there are many ways of being a lesbian, we start from the assumption that the oppressions experienced in relation to the dissidence of sexuality are combined with other oppressions. It is understood that there is a desirable pattern that is privileged and therefore gains more visibility on social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, creating an ideal of lesbianity. To surround these questions, we rescued the analysis carried out over the last few years on these platforms, denouncing the anti-intersectional character of social media algorithms.
