Abstract

The oral health education is an effective and inexpensive tool in promoting improved community health conditions. The objective of this study was to develop a permanent education intervention project for ACS in health promotion and dental prevention in the city of Bras Pires. A literature narrative review of aspects related to oral health was made in ESF, Since the situational analysis for the activities of the Specialization Course in Primary Care and Family Health (CEABSF) pointed out the lack of interaction between oral health team (ESB) and Community Health Agents (ACS). The literature review served as the theoretical framework for the intervention project developed in this TCC. The literature review showed evidence that greater interaction between ESB and ACS can contribute to the promotion of oral health in the FHS . It is expected that the intervention project developed in this TCC, the ACS can contribute to the promotion , prevention and recovery of oral health of the population of this municipality.
