Cultura, Identidade e Memória: uma leitura informacional de museus históricos em ambientes comunitários

Abstract

From the concepts of Culture, Identity and Memory, we search for proceed the informational reading of the historical museums, specifically those in communitarian contexts, as the colonial cities of Minas Gerais, possessors of strong cultural load that link them to the people of the land, to its traditions, its way of being. Seizing as the museological institution, it persists in being unaware of its "offers" (museologicalobject) and its "demand" (subject). When recognizing as informational and communicational space, through the research carried together to the visiting public of the Museu do Ouro, in special with the inhabitants of the city of Sabará, in Minas Gerais, and controllers of the area of museums of the IPHAN, autarchy to which the museum is tied, we perceive that the aloofness from the informational practical still persists, even that the theoretical speech is in contrast.
