In this paper, a Hardware in The Loop (HIL) platform was developed for the implementation of control techniques applied to static power converters. With this methodology, linear and nonlinear control techniques can be designed and compared - with low resources and available development time - to different types of power converters, such as Buck-Boost and Flyback. The converters, methods and control laws will be shown in detailed block diagrams, so that any student or engineer can reproduce the results. In addition, the HIL method became essential to dynamize and obtain experimental results, also presented in the dedicated section for both converters.
