Relato de experiência: universidades das crianças em minas gerais

Abstract

Children's University is a term that has been used to designate projects that resemble their practices, goals, and view of children, that distances itself from a deficient human being, unable to create and produce culture and knowledge. The objective of this essay was initially to present the Universities of Children that currently exist in Brazil, specifically in the state of Minas Gerais. From the analysis of videos, drawings and annotations in observations participating in the actions developed by the project of the Federal University of Minas Gerais, we raised some reflections, hoping to contribute to the field of education and scientific dissemination with children. The analyzes indicate the importance of the adoption of careful listening by educators and the articulation of different areas of knowledge to realize thecomplexities that are revealed in workshops with children.
