Escola, família e Conselho Tutelar: a construção de um sentimento emergente de direito

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to understand the delicate relationship that exists among theSchool, the Family, and the Guardianship Council, as well as the necessary disposition for acollective work capable of bringing out a sense of entitlement among the assisted families. Tothis end, the intention here is to discuss about the official mechanisms in favor of families ofchildren and adolescents, as well as problematize the meanings that families attribute to theschool and to the Guardianship Council. The research methodology was based oncomprehensive interviews with these agents. As a result, the importance of a mediation workbetween the Guardianship Council and two of the largest socialization agencies in thecontemporary world, namely school and family, was evident.
