A crise pandêmica sob uma perspectiva (não) moderna: fatos tecnocientíficos e democracia no contexto brasileiro

Abstract

This text presents an actor-network theory study about the coronavirus pandemic, showing this entity as a hybrid element that allies and moves different entities and establishes itself as central to the epidemiological crisis that begins in 2020. The objective is to identify the main mobilized actors and show how they are associated through the mapping of the initial actions of the Ministry of Health in the face of the pandemic in the fight against the new virus. For that, we present an actor-network report based on data extracted from epidemiological bulletins of the Ministry of Health. The analysis provides a broader understanding of the problem that is not restricted to a unidimensional dimension of reality and provides subsidies for thinking and also promoting a scientific education that offers opportunities to face different issues of modern society in spaces that are more dialogic and more open to controversies and for the complexity of technoscientific phenomena.
