MERCOSUL, participação e juventude : Reunião Especializada de Juventude do MERCOSUL

Abstract

This paper seeks to combat the lack of information and research on the relations between MERCOSUR, PARTICIPATION AND YOUTH, as well as the prospects for organized youth participation in MERCOSUR. This proposal should contribute to the understanding of important issues related to regional governance and issues of youth participation, in this sense verifies the relations and roles of youth organizations. Following the line of the proposed research will be checked the historical role of the Specialized Meeting on Youth (REJ) within the structures of Mercosur, specifically its developments and its functioning. The main objective is to explore the relationships between structures of governance, participation, considering its initiatives and possible frustrations in order to establish agreements that consider the various points of view with the active intervention in this context.
