Lefort e Maquiavel: ontologia e história

Abstract

The aim of this text is to identify some of the most salient aspects of Machiavelli’s interpretation presented by Claude Le-fort, especially in Le travail de l’œuvre Machiavel, with special attention to the theme of the conflict between humors. From this, the paper aims to show that the original Lefortian reading implies some important differences in the conception of politics and political writing, which can be better understood when referred to the notions of ontology and history.
