| dc.description.abstract | The internet has profoundly changed the way we live, communicate, and perceive the world. Through it, we are able to expand our connections both physically and cognitively, sharing our knowledge and interests with different people worldwide. Consequently, new literary manifestations emerge from this movement of social evolution and adaptation. Therefore, this paper seeks to explore the main factors that make fanfiction an ally in the literary development of teenagers and young adults. Its value is both sociocultural and cognitive, in subjective and social ways, since "it is in words that the unconscious finds its essential articulation" (DOR, 1980). Furthermore, its relevance within the school space is claimed as a textual genre and also as a facilitating bridge for other reading mediations, through studies on textual genre by linguist Luiz Antônio Marcuschi and literature and society by sociologist Antônio Cândido. | local.description.resumo | A internet tem mudado profundamente a maneira como vivemos, nos comunicamos e pensamos o mundo. Por meio dela, somos capazes de ampliar nossas conexões tanto fisicamente como cognitivamente, compartilhando nossos conhecimentos e interesses com diferentes pessoas mundo afora, e em consequência, novas manifestações literárias surgem a partir desse movimento de evolução e adaptação social. Sendo assim, este trabalho procura explorar os principais fatores que fazem da fanfic uma aliada no desenvolvimento literário de adolescentes e jovens adultos. O seu valor é sociocultural e cognitivo, ambos de forma subjetiva e social, uma vez que "é na palavra que o inconsciente encontra sua articulação essencial" (DOR, 1980). Além disso, reivindica-se sua relevância dentro do espaço escolar como gênero textual e também como ponte facilitadora para outras mediações de leituras, isto por meio dos estudos sobre gênero textual do linguista Luiz Antônio Marcuschi e a literatura e sociedade do sociólogo Antônio Cândido.
