Resumo
No presente artigo, buscou-se analisar como o estudo do gênero crônica contemporânea pode contribuir para o ensino da literatura brasileira nos anos finais do ensino fundamental, pontuando principalmente a importância da leitura nessa etapa da educação básica, tendo em vista a formação de um aluno-leitor. Para isso, a pesquisa foi fundamentada em uma revisão bibliográfica com abordagem qualitativa, pautada em um vasto referencial teórico a fim de contribuir nas discursões que permeiam o ensino da literatura em sala de aula. Além disso, a pesquisa apresenta a possiblidade de reflexão sobre o gênero crônica como ferramenta literária no processo de ensino aprendizagem dado a sua composição e significação. Por fim, trazer a crônica como possibilidade de ensino da literatura no ensino fundamental é apresentar aos alunos, por meio de um gênero tão autêntico, a importância das obras literárias e a sua contribuição para a formação do estudante, não só no âmbito escolar, mas também social.
Abstract
In this article, we sought to analyze how the study of the contemporary chronicle genre can contribute to the teaching of Brazilian literature in the final years of elementary school, highlighting mainly the importance of reading at this stage of basic education, with a view to training a student -reader. To achieve this, the research was based on a bibliographical review with a qualitative approach, based on a vast theoretical framework in order to contribute to the discussions that permeate the teaching of literature in the classroom. Furthermore, the research presents the possibility of reflecting on the chronicle genre as a literary tool in the teaching-learning process given its composition and meaning. Finally, bringing the chronicle as a possibility for teaching literature in elementary school means presenting to students, through such an authentic genre, the importance of literary works and their contribution to the student's education, not only at school, but also social.
