O encontro com as ialodês : articulações entre a psicologia social comunitária e o feminismo negro a partir da Coletiva Mulheres da Quebrada

Abstract

The objective of this dissertation is to analyze the encounter with the Ialodês as a key to reading intersectionality and black feminism as possible paths for the qualification of mental health care for black women, taking as a reference the organized movement of ColetivA Mulheres da Quebrada. And, to achieve them, three specific objectives were outlined, namely: Investigating the social and mental health impacts on the lives of women assisted by ColetivA; Deepen the dialogue between psychology and the care practices of the Ialodês as possible epistemologies to reconstruct and recover the experiences of black women, in expanded care in public policies, based on intersectionality and; Analyze the possible articulations between the knowledge of community social psychology and the collective organization of black women, as a theoretical-methodological contribution to thinking about mental health care for black women. In the first article of this dissertation, we discussed the organized ColetivA movement, and its sophisticated look at the construction of collective identities and the feminist solidarity network in Aglomerado da Serra, BH. The second article aims to present the practices of care and identity affirmation, developed in conjunction with ColetivA, in an intersectional dialogue with community social psychology and black feminism. The third and final article aims to discuss the care practices of the Ialodês, developed within the scope of ColetivA, as possible epistemologies, for the promotion of technologies of care, affirmation, collectivization and self-nomination of women from Aglomerado da Serra, BH. In each article, discussions and notes are made on how to destabilize the heteronormative racist patriarchal foundations imposed on women, through the conduct of a care practice methodologically endorsed in the knowledge of ialodê Oxum, articulated with theorizations of black feminism and community social psychology . From the discussions and analyzes discussed in this dissertation, it is possible to conclude that the actions developed in conjunction with ColetivA have provided ancestral mirroring processes for a psi practice based on black epistemologies, with the principle of the Oxum mirror as a driver of re-existence and identity affirmation of black and peripheral women who frequent the ColetivA space. The path taken has made it possible to give new meaning to the identity of black women by highlighting their protagonism and calling on them to share responsibility for care. We can see how mental health promotion has brought symbolic and psychosocial benefits, through the affirmation of a positive self-concept and the reverberations of insurgent epistemological orders and Afro-centered and anti-racist care practices.
