| dc.description.abstract | The Education of Youths and Adults are a complex field, because it doesn't involve only pedagogic subjects, more than the Regular Teaching, is reflex of the socioeconomic inequality in that great part of the Brazilian population. To change that picture doesn't mean to offer vacancies in the public net of teaching to those that never, or just almost time, they had access to the school banks. It is necessary, and this is not innovation for anybody, changes in the structure social, economical, politics and cultural of the country. Taking into account, the institution of some guidelines that swallow a new challenge for the reading practice in EJA, this article has as objective to bring for the school atmosphere a new methodology that gets to explore the potentialities of the literary text, in the case, the poetry, doing of the reading work something more interactive and less tedious for the students | |

| local.description.resumo | A Educação de Jovens e Adultos é um campo complexo, pois não envolve somente questões pedagógicas, mais do que o Ensino Regular, é reflexo da desigualdade socioeconômica em que se encontra grande parte da população brasileira. Mudar esse quadro não significa oferecer vagas na rede pública de Ensino àqueles que nunca, ou apenas por pouco tempo, tiveram acesso aos bancos escolares. É necessário, e isto não é novidade para ninguém, mudanças na estrutura social, econômica, política e cultural do país. Levando em consideração, a instituição de algumas diretrizes que tragam um novo desafio para a prática de leitura na EJA, este artigo tem como objetivo trazer para o ambiente escolar uma nova metodologia que consiga explorar as potencialidades do texto literário a poesia, fazendo do trabalho de leitura algo mais interativo e menos tedioso para os alunos. | |
