Resumo
This work employs the two approaches of the split step parabolic equation (SSPE) method to compare the numerical solution of the parabolic equation (PE) model with others numerical techniques. Narrow Angle Parabolic Equation (NAPE) and Wide Angle Parabolic Equation (WAPE) are tested in two different case studies. NAPE and WAPE showed a good agreement when are considered atmosphere effects and electromagnetic parameters over an irregular terrain. The case studies are analyzed in VHF and UHF radiowave.
