Resumo
A radioterapia é indicada de forma exclusiva ou associada à quimioterapia e
cirurgia no tratamento de câncer, com o objetivo de cura, remissão ou paliação.
Mesmo diante dos avanços relacionados às técnicas de radiação os efeitos
adversos são observados, as reações na pele, as radiodermatites, representam os
efeitos mais comumente encontrados. Diante das estatísticas que mostram o
aumento o número de pessoas que receberão o diagnóstico de um câncer e
consequentemente poderão ser submetidas à radioterapia, torna-se imperativo
que o enfermeiro busque introduzir no planejamento da assistência evidências
científicas. O Objetivo do estudo é identificar quais são as práticas correntes de
tratamento e manejo das radiodermites no paciente oncológico. O referencial
teórico utilizado foi a prática baseada em evidencia. O referencial metodológico
adotado foi a revisão integrativa devido as poucas publicações a respeito do tema.
A amostra foi constituída de 7 artigos devido o delineamento estabelecido. Após a
análise dos estudos, foram identificado as recomendações estabelecidas por
estes. Este estudo permitiu constatar, além da carência dos estudos que abordam
a prevenção e tratamento da radiodermites, as fragilidades dos artigos obtidos
fornecendo recomendações com baixo nível de evidência. Somando-se a variação
de condutas entre os profissionais da enfermagem.
Abstract
Radiotherapy is indicated either exclusively or combined with chemotherapy and
surgery in the treatment of cancer, with the goal of cure, remission or palliation. Even
before the advances related to radiation techniques adverse effects are observed,
the reactions in the skin, the radiodermatites represent the effects most commonly
found. Given the statistics that show an increase the number of people who will be
diagnosed with cancer and therefore may be subjected to radiotherapy, it is
imperative that nurses seek to introduce in care planning scientific evidence. The
objective of the study is to identify current practices in treatment and management of
radiodermatitis in cancer patients. The theoretical framework was used in evidence based practice. The adopted methodological approach was integrative review
because the few publications on the subject. The sample consisted of 7 items
because the outline established. After analyzing the studies, were identified
recommendations established by them. This work has found, besides the lack of
studies that address the prevention and treatment of radiodermatitis, the weaknesses
of the articles obtained by providing recommendations with low level of evidence.
Adding to the variation of behavior among nursing professionals.
