Resumo
In this work, a procedure for data abstraction and knowledge formation based on evolving granular systems is introduced. With the use of ellipsoidal information granules, an optimal granularity allocation approach for real-time data processing based on fuzzy sets is developed in order to obtain interpretable representations. From the real-time data analysis, the goal is to maximize the fuzzy rules support that characterizes the information granules preventing the representation becoming abstract, compromising the interpretability of the rules. In this sense, experiments regarding time-series granulation are performed to analyze the trade-off between granularity and interpretability of evolving systems.
