O trabalho da mulher no campo: uma análise crítica em face das reformas trabalhista e da previdência

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the characteristics of the work of rural women in Brazil, their particularities in relation to the work of rural men and urban work, and to investigate the possible implications of the proposal for social security reform (PEC 287/16 ) and labor (Law 13.467 and PL 6,442 / 16) for these women. In the first place, we investigated the context that led to the proposal of the reforms, pointing to a neoliberal advance in the country. Next, we propose an examination of the context and the experiences of the rural workers, who despite their efforts to reduce the barriers of a sexist and patriarchal structure, still do not receive due appreciation for their work. From this perspective, we explored points of the labor and social security reforms that will more directly influence the work dynamics of rural women, such as the introduction of intermittent work, the protection of pregnant women, and retirement by age of the rural worker.
