dc.description.abstractSocial inclusion and inclusion in the labor market of people that have mental disability is now the subject of debates on social programs and government. Among the factors that influence the inclusion family is the one of the most important. parents have ambivalent attitudes regarding the inclusion of their sons, and are the main actors in the search for autonomy, acting as barrier only in the absence of information. Guidance for parents becomes essential in the search for the inclusion of individuals with mental disabilities. This work has made a search in the literature looking for articles that addressed the family's influence in the process of inclusion in the formal labor market.The conclusion is that

local.description.resumoA inclusão social e a inclusão no mercado de trabalho do deficiente mental é hoje tema de debates em programas sociais e governamentais. Dentre os fatores que influenciam a inclusão, a família merece destaque. Os pais apresentam posturas ambivalentes quanto à inclusão de seus filhos, sendo os principais atores na busca de autonomia e agindo como barreira na ausência de informação. Orientação aos pais é essencial na busca da inclusão dos portadores de deficiência mental. Este trabalho tem como objetivo investigar o papel da família no processo de inclusão do deficiente mental no mercado de trabalho.
