Resumo
Este trabalho tem como objetivo compreender a construção do discurso, do texto e do fazer
persuasivo na peça A Alma Imoral, adaptada e interpretada por Clarice Niskier, considerando a
mobilização de elementos cênicos, com destaque para o figurino composto por um único tecido
preto. A pesquisa fundamenta-se na semiótica discursiva de linha francesa, segundo o percurso
gerativo da significação proposto por Greimas e Courtés (2021), Greimas (2014), Floch (1985,
1986, 2023), Bertrand (2003), Barros (2001, 2022, 1987), e Ubersfeld (2005), e toma como
corpus o espetáculo inspirado na obra do rabino Nilton Bonder, cuja encenação articula
conteúdos filosófico-teológicos em diálogo com a tradição judaico-cristã. Ao optar por um
figurino mínimo e multifuncional, a montagem constrói um discurso visual que atua como
elemento actancial, reconfigurando sentidos a cada transformação cênica. Os objetivos
específicos da investigação são descrever o funcionamento dos procedimentos de
discursivização realizados pelo sujeito enunciador da peça, analisar a adequação do enunciado
às finalidades persuasivas da enunciação, demonstrar as relações semióticas entre os elementos
cênicos no processo de textualização e interpretar a plurivariância figurativa do tecido preto
como recurso expressivo autônomo. Com abordagem qualitativa, delineamento exploratório e
método hipotético-dedutivo, a pesquisa apoia-se em revisão bibliográfica e análise do
espetáculo. Os resultados revelam que o tecido preto se configura como figura performativa
que modula sentidos, ativa isotopias e tensiona os eixos entre tradição e ruptura. Conclui-se que
a semiótica discursiva oferece instrumentos eficazes para a leitura de textos sincréticos como o
teatro, contribuindo, em sentido estrito, para o ensino de estratégias interpretativas e, em sentido
amplo, para a análise crítica de práticas sociais e profissionais.
Abstract
This study aims to understand the construction of discourse, text, and persuasive practice in the
play A Alma Imoral, adapted and performed by Clarice Niskier, focusing on the use of scenic
elements, particularly a costume composed of a single black fabric. The research is grounded
in French-line discursive semiotics, based on the generative trajectory of meaning as proposed
by Greimas and Courtés (2021), Greimas (2014), Floch (1985, 1986, 2023), Bertrand (2003),
Barros (2001, 2022, 1987), and Ubersfeld (2005), and examines the theatrical performance
inspired by the work of Rabbi Nilton Bonder, whose staging articulates philosophical-
theological content in dialogue with the Judeo-Christian tradition. By opting for a minimal and
multifunctional costume, the production creates a visual discourse that operates as an actantial
element, reconfiguring meanings with each scenic transformation. The specific objectives of
the investigation are to describe the functioning of discursive procedures enacted by the
enunciating subject of the play, to analyze the alignment of the utterance with the persuasive
aims of the enunciation, to demonstrate the semiotic relationships among scenic elements in the
process of textualization, and to interpret the figurative plurivariance of the black fabric as an
autonomous expressive resource. Employing a qualitative approach, exploratory design, and a
hypothetical-deductive method, the study is based on bibliographic review and analysis of the
performance. The findings reveal that the black fabric operates as a performative figure that
modulates meanings, activates isotopies, and intensifies the tensions between tradition and
rupture. It is concluded that discursive semiotics provides effective tools for interpreting
syncretic texts such as theater, contributing, in a strict sense, to the teaching of interpretative
strategies and, in a broad sense, to the critical analysis of social and professional practices.
