“Afinal tudo deixa um certo rastro”: questões da poética do pensamento em Hilda Hilst

Abstract

This dissertation is based on the concerns and questions that arise from the reading of Hilda Hilst's work, having as main reference the book Com os meus olhos de cão. The reflections in this work stem both from the figurations of alterity in Hilst's text and from the concept of “thinking literature”, formulated by Evando Nascimento (1999), in order to put into scene the existing relations between literature and thought. Traces considered as footprints to be followed were the figuration of the divine, of the animal, and of finitude in Hilst's poetics. From these traces the following hypothesis was developed: that Hilda Hilst's work engenders new ways of feeling and thinking by founding her literary writing on the questioning and the search for the Other.
