Artes plásticas: teoria x práticas pedagógicas na educação infantil

Abstract

The work that has had as main objective to understand the place of the teaching of the visual arts in a school of early childhood education, specifically to observe the practice of the visual arts in the classroom. Justifies the choice of the theme for the artistic creation is a requirement of the human need to perceive and understand the representation of human and social reality, and aim to express meanings and collective values. The development consisted of a literature search on the theme and a survey of participant observation in a classroom of 2nd period Jandir Clemente Municipal School of Rock, located in the municipality of Ribeirão das Neves. The activity performed enabled realize that art is a discipline that contributes significantly not only to awaken in children cultural beliefs, values, symbols and meanings. Through art children have the opportunity to interact with his fellow exchanging experiences and sharing the same space. It was noticed that the simple notion of materials available in nature for children brought a great range of creation and results of artistic production was diversified , with works made with mud, clay, paints, plants, flowers, collage, drawings, among others. Faced with the realization of the importance that art has for the development of children is a clear need for greater incentives and investments by the government, both to create an infrastructure compatible and effective for teaching and to promote training courses for teachers.
