Resumo
O presente estudo tem como objetivo refletir acerca da configuração da sociedade brasileira e identificar historicamente possíveis reflexos para a construção de suas utopias e distopias. Para isso foram utilizadas interlocuções de pensadores sobre as transformações sociais, no pressuposto de que a estrutura de formação da sociedade brasileira influenciou o comportamento das suas classes na busca de suas utopias, cujo recorte abrange da Colonização até a República Velha. Fatos da história brasileira apontados no estudo marcam a identidade de uma nação que reproduz em suas gerações a consciência de uma estrutura identitária norteadora das aspirações pela busca de realizações maculado pelas forças dominantes.
Abstract
This study aimsto reflect on the configuration of the brazilian society and historically identifying it’s possible reflexes, specifically the ones that have constructed their utopia and distopia. To acomplish that, interlocutions of thinkers on social transformations were used to support the statement that the structure and formation of the brazilian society have both influenced the behavior of the social classes in their search of your utopias, concearned in the period between the Colonization and the Old Repuplic. The brazilian historic facts shown by this study reveal the identity of a nation that transmit to the following generations a structured identity wich guide their aspirations through their search for achievements, hence for a better place wich is runned by the dominant forces.
